Ingredients

  • 250 g Habanero chili peppers raw
  • 1 head garlic
  • 0.5 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 30 g Culantro Cilantro
  • 1 unit Lemon
  • 1 tsp Salt to taste

Instructions

Prepare the Ingredients

  • Wash the habanero peppers thoroughly and remove the stems. (Wear gloves to protect your hands from the spicy oils!)
  • Peel the garlic cloves.
  • Wash the cilantro (or culantro) and chop it roughly.
  • Juice the lemon.

Blend Everything Together

  • In a blender or food processor, combine the habanero peppers, garlic, cilantro, lemon juice, and apple cider vinegar.

  • Add salt to taste and blend again to combine.

 Adjust and Store

  • Taste the sauce and adjust the salt or lemon juice if needed.
  • Transfer the hot sauce to a clean, sterilized glass bottle or jar. Store it in the refrigerator for up to 2 months.
